Thomas P. Johnson, Ph.D., a Chemistry Professor with the College of the Mainland at Texas City, Texas has been actively involved in various Christian Community development Projects in Indian villages during the last 15 years.

Some of the Projects include:

  • Adult Literacy Centers
  • Orphanages
  • Drilling tube wells
  • Medical clinics
  • Educational resources to the village school teachers

Recently Dr. Johnson received a sabbatical leave, and the Johnson Family left Houston, TX by mid August for Calcutta, India to spend an year there to actively involve in Christian community services.

The Johnson’s raise finances for the community Projects through various local churches, and Family and friends.
